Worklicant is an online recruiting platform operated by Techlicant LLC ("we", "us"). Employers use it to publish vacancies and manage applications. Candidates use it to find vacancies and apply for them.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Techlicant LLC. When you create an account, publish a vacancy, apply for a vacancy, or buy credits, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Worklicant.

If you use Worklicant for a company, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that company. In that case, "you" also means the company.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Worklicant.
  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must confirm your email address. We remove unconfirmed accounts after 30 days.
  • You are responsible for all activity in your account. Keep your login details secure and tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • An employer organization can invite team members. The organization is responsible for the actions of the members it invites.

3. Candidates

  • Worklicant is free for candidates. We never charge candidates to apply, to create a profile, or to talk with employers.
  • When you apply for a vacancy, we send your application to the employer that published that vacancy. The employer makes all hiring decisions. We do not guarantee interviews or jobs.
  • The information and documents in your application must be true and must be your own.
  • With a candidate account, you can choose to join our talent pool. If you do not join it, other employers cannot find you in search.
  • If an employer asks you for money, for bank card details, or for anything that seems unsafe, do not continue. Report it to us at aziz@worklicant.com.

4. Employers

When you use Worklicant as an employer, you agree to these rules:

  • You publish only real vacancies for real positions that your organization intends to fill, or that you are authorized to recruit for.
  • You never ask candidates for payment, deposits, training fees, or any other money in connection with a vacancy.
  • You follow all applicable employment, labor, and anti-discrimination laws. You do not discriminate against candidates because of age, sex, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, pregnancy, marital status, or any other characteristic that the law protects.
  • You use candidate data only to evaluate candidates for your vacancies and to communicate with them about these vacancies. You do not sell it, publish it, or use it for marketing.
  • You are responsible for how you use candidate data after you download it or copy it out of Worklicant, and for meeting the data protection laws that apply to you as an employer.

5. AI features

Worklicant uses automated tools, including AI models, to read resumes, extract work experience, give a fit score for a vacancy, and support candidate search.

  • AI results can be incomplete or wrong. They are an aid for the employer and do not replace human judgment.
  • An employer can set rejection rules for a vacancy. Applications that match these rules are marked "auto-rejected". The employer can always see and review these applications.
  • Employers are responsible for their hiring decisions and for the rules they set. Rejection rules must not use characteristics that the law protects.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use Worklicant to:

  • publish fake, misleading, or fraudulent vacancies;
  • promote pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or work that is illegal where it is done;
  • collect personal data for a purpose that is not recruitment for your own vacancies;
  • scrape, copy, or resell content or candidate data from Worklicant;
  • send spam, malware, or harassing messages;
  • get around usage limits or credits, or try to get unauthorized access to Worklicant or to other accounts;
  • break any law or the rights of any other person.

7. Payments and credits

  • Only employers pay. Employers buy prepaid credit packs. One credit lets you publish one vacancy.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. We do not charge you again automatically.
  • Credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Unused credits expire after this period. Credits have no cash value and you cannot transfer them to another organization.
  • Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes are added at checkout where the law requires them.
  • Credits are sold for business use. If mandatory consumer law in your country gives you more rights, these rights still apply.
  • Our online reseller and Merchant of Record is Polar. Polar processes your payment, issues your receipt or invoice, and handles sales tax and VAT. Polar's terms of sale also apply to your purchase. We do not receive or store your full card details.

8. Refunds

  • You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. This applies also when you have already used credits from that purchase.
  • When we refund a purchase, we can remove the unused credits of that purchase and close the vacancies that you published with its credits.
  • After 14 days we do not refund a purchase, except where the law requires it or where Worklicant did not work as described because of a fault on our side.
  • To ask for a refund, email aziz@worklicant.com with your order email address and the order number. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Polar.
  • If we suspend an account because it broke these Terms, for example by publishing fraudulent vacancies, we can refuse a refund where the law permits.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Worklicant, such as vacancies, resumes, cover letters, notes, and messages. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, copy, and show this content only as necessary to operate and improve Worklicant. Published vacancies are public and anyone can see them.

You confirm that you have the rights to the content you add, and that it does not break any law or the rights of another person.

10. Moderation and termination

We can review, hide, or remove vacancies and other content, and we can suspend or close accounts, if we think they break these Terms, put users at risk, or break the law. When possible, we tell you the reason.

You can stop using Worklicant at any time. To close your account, contact us at aziz@worklicant.com.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We provide Worklicant "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it is free of errors or always available. We do not check every vacancy or application, and we are not responsible for what employers and candidates say or do.

To the maximum extent that the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to Worklicant is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Changes to these terms

We can change these Terms. If a change is important, we tell you by email or on Worklicant before it starts to apply. If you continue to use Worklicant after the change, you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

The laws of the State of Wyoming, United States apply to these Terms. The courts of the State of Wyoming, United States have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law of your country of residence gives you a different right.
